Communication has always been a key word at the laboratory. When we decided several years ago to custom make our own shade-taking systems, alongside our chair-side demonstration models, it became very apparent that communication was key to success, both in the surgery and the laboratory.
We further enhanced the communication theme by asking our clients to design their own prescription dockets.
When new products are being evaluated, or brought into the lab, our open evenings always attract a good turnout [this may be something to do with the motor racing theme that precedes the scientific section of these evenings] of surgeons, whether current clients or just interested parties.
